Jonaaki was born from a personal struggle.
Founded by Shrriyankaa, the brand began with one simple thought, why should finding stylish clothes in larger sizes be so difficult? As a plus size woman herself, she often struggled to find pieces that truly fit, felt comfortable, and reflected her personal style. Most brands stopped at L or XL, making shopping more frustrating than enjoyable.
While studying fashion design, she realised the problem was never women’s bodies, but the lack of inclusive fashion designed for real people.
That thought became Jonaaki.
Rooted in comfort, confidence, and inclusivity, Jonaaki creates thoughtfully designed pieces in sizes M to 10XL. The brand’s first collection draws inspiration from Lucknow and its timeless Chikankari craftsmanship, blending tradition with contemporary silhouettes.
The name Jonaaki is inspired by her mother’s name, Jona, and also means firefly in Bengali, symbolising hope, light, and the idea of finding confidence even in spaces where you once felt unseen.
At Jonaaki, fashion is not about changing yourself to fit into clothes. It is about clothes finally being made for you.
